We Are Called to Wake up
Are You Listening?
Listen!
Do you hear?
Let us respond to
the call to
awaken.
Let us embark on the greatest adventure of life. To
be pioneers of our inner world and see for
ourselves the vastness and wonder of what
is there. To discover who and what
we are. To be done with the
veils of pain and the
stories of
our
mind. To begin to see
a bright rising sun that leads
us to a different world, a different
consciousness. A consciousness that is
clear, open, and free, a vast unlimited potential.
Here is an except of chapter 9 of my book where I describe a call to awaken that flows through me.
“The Bridge of Light is finished. It is done. It is ready for you. Now is the time for us all to cross over this Bridge of Light. It has been made by your brothers and sisters of light, those who have prepared the way. We are now at the top of the pass – at the peak of the mountain. Now we cross over to the other side, on a well-defined path that leads down the mountain to the valley of the golden age. Now is the time.
In the name of God, I command it. It is so. It is real. It is truth.
Come and follow. Follow your brothers and sisters of light, those out of embodiment and those in embodiment. Come and hold on to their robes of light. Take their hands, take my hand. Take it and follow. Come and step onto this bridge and cross over. Let us all cross over into the new age of the Great Mother, into the new age of light. This is an age of love, of harmony, of peace. Come and cross over into unity with spirit, into the perspective of spirit. Let us cross into a world that is clear and sharp, electric, with enhanced colour. Here we live in the moment and enjoy the moment that is eternal. Here we feel the ecstasy of the body. Here we live in harmony with all. We have an open heart and we are open to life around us. We live a life that is direct and raw. Here we love and live from the heart.
This is for all of us. No one must be left behind. So come all of you. Come children, babies, elderly, the sickly. Come all, no matter what you have done or what you have not done; it matters not. Come and step onto this bridge. One step. Take that one step and then the next. All who need help, you will receive it from your brothers and sisters of light, from your brothers and sisters in life. Those who are burdened by darkness and can’t see or believe will receive help. Take it. Take that hand. Take my hand. Follow me, take my hand, follow my heart. Follow your heart, your spirit, God, your body, your intuition. Follow. All you need to do is leave behind the human perspective, the perspective of your ego. Leave behind that veil covering reality. Step beyond – hold on to my hand and step beyond. Take your first step onto this Bridge of Light. This beautiful bridge of white light, this bridge of the rainbow colours, or whatever way this Bridge of Light appears to you. Come. Come with us. Do not stay behind.
This is your call to cross over into another world, into a world of light and awakening. Awake and take your first step. The clouds in your world are parting. They are parting slowly and patches of clear blue sky are now visible. Look beyond the clouds, see the clear blue sky, that huge expanse of emptiness, of fullness, of freedom. The sun peeks from beyond the clouds and sheds its warm living light on you. Your world, your sky will continue to lighten and clear. Look at this, see it and feel it. This is your being and you know it. Follow this. This is happening now. You will begin to see the light and you will wake up. Gradually you will come into the new world and step across this bridge. It begins now. You can choose this.
In the name of God, I command it. It is so. It is real. It is truth.
This call is for everyone on this planet Earth. It is for humanity, all of humanity. It is for all the evolutions of this Earth. It is for the elementals of fire, air, water, and earth. It is for Mother Earth. It is for the evolutions who care for nature. It is for all life that lives in the earth. It is for all evolutions connected with Earth we know and do not know about. This is your call. Come and step onto the Bridge of Light and enter another world.
I am singing for you the birth song of the great White Dragon. This is your call to awakening. This is the breath of all of us, the breath of the universe, the essence of us; the substance of love we are all made of. I call you with this song, anchored deeply in who and what you are, anchored deeply in the animating breath of you. I call you and this call reverberates in the depths of your being. All will hear this song in the essence of their being. All will hear it in the heart, in the breath, in the mind, in the body.
Ana era ma, Io ma, Io ana ma. Aya aya aya, aya ana ma. Ana ma nanani, Io nanani, Io maha maha nanani. Amarana manini, amanene mane, mane astee. Nananinimi. Amanene mane, amanene mane, mane astee. Nananinimi, nananinimi.
Come, come and follow. Come and awaken to the reality of your being. Come and take your first step across the Bridge of Light, into a world of light. Come all of you, whoever you are, wherever you are. This is for all of you. It is for those who are sick, for those who are dying, for those who are starving to death, for those who have no homes, for those who are fleeing, for those who are healthy, for those who have everything, and for those who have nothing.
I breathe the breath of the great White Dragon into the world, into all the continents so you may receive this song, this call to awakening. I breathe it into Africa, into Australia, into the islands of the oceans, into all the countries of Europe, into England, into the Netherlands, into Scandinavia, into Russia, into the Middle East, into China, into India, into all the countries of the Far East. Into Indonesia and Japan, into Iceland and Greenland, into Mexico and the United States of America, into Canada. Into South America and the islands above it. Into the polar caps, into all the oceans.
In the name of God, I command it. It is so. It is real. It is truth.
In the name of God, I command this call is now anchored in all of life. It now lives and breathes at the very foundation of your being. It pulses in the depths of your being. This message now lives in your hearts, in your minds, in your bodies. It lives and vibrates in your blood, in your muscles, in your flesh, in your breath, in your bones. It lives in every cell of your being, in every electron and atom. It lives in fire, air, water, earth, and space. It lives within you and it will be heard. It lives and breathes within you and it will lift you up. It will give you the impetus to listen and wake up and cross the bridge to the new world.
I am calling you. Come. None are to be left behind. Listen and follow. Choose. Choose this now. You can do it.”
My body is alive with vibrating energy. As I am speaking these words, the clouded sky above me breaks up. Patches of blue sky appear, some quite large, and the sun shines through them.
I feel the
warmth and life
of the sun on
me
You are feeling it too. Let us cross this bridge now
Let us take each other’s hand. No one
must be left behind. Take my
hand. Come with me
I will not leave
you. I Love
you.
Let us go into this
new world where we may create
our paradise. Come with me. Come

The Heart is Home
The Heart is the Homing Device - Follow It
Here follows an excerpt of chapter 25 of my book. It takes place at the pyramid of Chichén Itzá, Mexico.
When I get to the top of the pyramid, I see the large brilliant sun. It shines into my third-eye chakra, and it puts its light there in the form of a seal, looking exactly like those serrated golden seals that adorn diplomas and degrees. The light then shines into my heart, and it puts an identical seal of light there. I see light shining from the third eye to the crown. A band of gold runs from the heart to the third eye. This reminds me of the constellation of three golden nodes and bands of golden light connecting them when I encountered the crystal snake (chapter 24).
I look at the shining sun in the sacred temple and make out the face of a serpent in it. The serpent looks like Kukulkan. The face is white and powerful looking and is adorned with red and blue feathers. I talk to the serpent and call for the purification of the Maya and their culture and rituals. That all may be restored to the pure loving essence of what they were at heart, the pure loving essence of the Feathered Serpent.
A nuclear explosion suddenly occurs at the crown, which is the sacred temple on top of the pyramid where I am having an encounter with the sun. I see its powerful, clear light rushing outwards around the temple. In chapter 24, I wrote of the nuclear explosion of the crown chakra. Here it is.
A little after this explosion, a big wind blows across the site, an effect that also occurs with a real nuclear explosion, accompanied by a whipping, coiling, back-and-forth sound generated by the ropes on the fence around the pyramid.
The channel between the third-eye and crown chakras has been blown open. Finally. Remember how the entire journey described in this book is from the third-eye to the crown chakra. I see the opening with white light shining from it. A black bird flies upwards from the channel and turns golden. A golden eagle follows. It is strikingly beautiful with wing feathers looking like knives. The eagle circles over my crown chakra.
I interact more with the Feathered Serpent. I see a white dinosaur with black eyes (remember the symbolism of the dinosaur is wisdom from the primordial, returning to earth, and inner transformation). I observe him closely and tell him he can rest now. He no longer needs to do what he has been doing. After I say this, the dinosaur falls apart and disappears in front of my eyes. I feel sad, sad about the turning of big cycles and all the changes and transformations wrought with them, sad about the sacrifices made, sad about the terrible suffering. Knowing also this is awe-fully beautiful, that it has a purpose, and that the price is great and deeply felt.
The serpent gives me a red heart. Then it turns golden. Kukulkan opens its mouth wide and eats me as I enter the black wormhole inside. As I move towards the point of light at the end, the serpent disappears behind me. Kukulkan is gone, leaving behind a crystal clarity.
The end of the wormhole is large and cosmic. I see a huge, round, counterclockwise-rotating field of white light with a dark dot located at the center. The dark dot becomes a large drop. It falls on me, and I turn golden. Another drop forms, of black colour, and from it emerges a clear drop of water. I am in front of the large drop hanging down from the center of the field of light. I look into it and see black smoke or liquid substance. A golden band of light emits from my heart into the black smoke inside the drop. The smoke turns to golden drops of rain. At the bottom of the large drop, I see planet Earth. It is blue with the continents coloured in the bright beautiful colours the local people use for their arts and crafts. The planet rises in the drop to where it is level with me. The golden drops rain down on Earth, and it becomes covered in golden light. Then Earth spins counterclockwise fast. The spinning Earth produces a dancing coil of DNA from the top of the sphere. The DNA spiral moves upwards and keeps going with the spinning movement . . .
I return to the pyramid for the last few hours on the site and tell it this is the last opportunity for anything that still needs doing. I take a seat under some trees casting their much-needed shade over me, a ways from the pyramid. It is afternoon and the heat is oppressive and draining. After I speak, a light turns on in the sacred temple on top of the pyramid. It sends its light all around in a circular pattern like that of a lampshade.
Another powerful explosion occurs from the sacred temple, although less potent than the first one. A counterclockwise-rotating light sweeps around the site, like the beam of a lighthouse. It locks onto my heart and sends black light to it. At first, I assert only 100 percent light may enter, but I think better of that as I am imposing something that feels wrong. Besides, I know this type of light, and it holds no danger. The black light turns golden at my heart. I notice a golden channel from my heart to the third-eye and crown chakras. It is straight and open. The golden light flows through it and exists the crown, shedding its light in a widening beam. A white substance shoots from this beam. Then a torrent of white light flows through the light beam to my heart. I physically feel this light. Then the white light splashes like water from my crown, a geyser in which I make out individual drops of light holding images. One drop shows an image of a man and woman holding each other. I grab it and put it in my heart.
A golden heart appears from the beam of light. It is large. It spins fast counterclockwise. It has a line of electric white lightning feeding into the bottom at the point. The heart sends out coils of DNA, moving and dancing upwards, two strands proceeding from the rounded lobes at the top of the heart. Then the heart acquires golden wings.
I am looking at the winged golden heart.
How Do I Wake Up?
Spiritual awakening is not something that we do. To clarify, it is not something the ego does. Awareness or God wakes up in us. However, we can set the intention and then follow our heart and do what we need to do to facilitate awakening. We need the ego to be on board with this and support us in our practice. In this way, it will help us to move beyond itself and find its rightful, and not dominant, place in the totality of being. Ironic, isn't it? Even more ironic is that the ego is there for a purpose; it provides resistance and friction, a shell or barrier that will help us break through that into reality. In other words, it is the problem and the cure! This is the paradox. It is like the Zen koan. Pay attention when you encounter it as it provides an opportunity for realization. This is a big cosmic joke. God is laughing, as are the birds. You can read in my book what that is all about.
There is the famous story of Sri Ramana Maharshi. As a boy of 16, he challenged death through a practice of self-enquiry and awakened. Just like that. It doesn't have to take a lot of time and hard work. It requires a deep realization and complete surrender to what is real.
For most of us, however, awakening is a process and we each experience our own unique expression of it. You can read about mine in the book I published. My experience has been that each awakening opened up deeper aspects and challenges in my being. It has been a wondrous journey but also difficult, and it is still ongoing. Yours will be unique to you and will be different from mine.
We are crystallizations of God or awareness, rays of light on Earth, each with our own body, personality, and set of circumstances. One way of looking at this is that God or awareness wants to be fully present and grounded here on this Earth and it wants to wake up to itself. But something is in the way and that is us, our personality and ego and our beliefs, thinking, and emotions. The channel is plugged up, as it were. This is not wrong or bad. It is this way for a reason.
We can help the process of awakening along by working at unplugging the channel, or, more aptly put, by changing our perspective from the ego to the heart. This can be done in many different ways. It doesn't necessarily require that you go to church, have a spiritual path, meditate hours a day, or seek therapy. All these things can be very helpful and may be necessary but it depends.
This is a simple guide to taking steps toward your goal:
1. Is the will and desire to awaken present?
2. Set the intention to awaken.
2. Pray, meditate, or ask to be given guidance as to the best path to walk. Then pay close attention to everything in your life to discern an answer.
3. If you have traumas and psychological challenges, you can get help as these wounds can obstruct the process.
4. Engage with practices that you feel are important for you to do. Perhaps you want to meditate and then you can find out what the best practice is for you. You can join a group to get instruction and meditate in the container of a group. This can be helpful as a group is supportive and helps the meditation experience. Or perhaps you want to meditate on your own or do another practice.
You can attend retreats with an awakened teacher and make progress toward your goal.
5. Examine your life and determine if you are doing something you enjoy. Do you like your work? Are you forcing yourself to do things you don't enjoy? Are you living the life you want to lead or are you living someone else's life or a life motivated by fear?
It is important that you are able to express who you are in whatever way: through creativity, work, hobbies, volunteering, etc.
6. Whatever you do: follow the heart, make a relationship with the heart and the body, the two aspects of our being.
In Buddhism, there are teachings that delineate this path in an even simpler way. The path, mentioned in point 4 above, is outlined as follows:
1. The view
2. The practice
3. The result
Very simple and true. First you learn about what you want to accomplish. Then you do the practice, and the result will follow. Things may seem complicated but they are simple at heart.
When the ego looks at this path, it becomes overwhelmed and thinks "how on earth am I going to do this? I'll never be able to do this." And that's true, because it's not the ego that will be doing the waking up - that's the problem. So watch for the ego going on the spiritual path. The ego is with us whatever we do and with whatever intention we set. It can very quickly coopt this path. This will probably happen with most of us, but at some point, we will be shown what is happening, as I was, and then we will have an opportunity to move past this.
This is why the path can be difficult as the ego wants to be awake and it never will be. It will strive and work and try to obtain this treasure but it will never possess it. It is a potentially tricky time on this path when we realize the ego is never going to be awake. You can read about this realization in my book.
It is the ego and its thinking mind and pain that make this path difficult. The trick is to stop doing all that hard work and focus on and stay in the heart instead of engaging with the thinking mind. The stronger this mind and the stronger our identification with our stories and wounds, the longer and more complex the journey back to our heart may be. But it matters not. Our journey will have purpose and meaning and it will bring us what we need. So that we will move beyond the thinking mind and ego, which are the veil that obscures and distorts reality. The "work" is to see this veil and to realize who and what we are.
The spiritual journey can bring us amazing experiences. They can become distractions because we want to hold on to them and recreate them and this creates suffering. Watch out! Please let go of experiences, which are fleeting and impermanent, and move on to discovering what is the foundation or heart that gives rise to the experience, what is always here and never changes.
This journey, if you decide to embark on it, is the hunt for the treasure. The treasure is your heart, the consciousness we can access there. We seek our happiness on the outside, with other people, with a career, with teachings that promise abundance and happiness. We seek in the wrong place. What we want is so close, so incredibly close that we overlook it. In Buddhism, there is a story about this, of a poor family living in a dilapidated house. Unknown to them, a treasure is hidden beneath the floor, but they don't look there. This is the pure consciousness that is so close to us, hidden in our own heart, but we look outside of ourselves.
We are searching for the diamond of our awareness, our pure consciousness. It is hidden in the manure heap of our pain, fear, and the negative thinking mind. The journey is getting into that manure heap, if you can't let it all go, like Ramana Maharshi. So roll up your sleeves and get ready for shovellling into that manure heap to find the treasure of your being. Your treasure is like a diamond encrusted with hard minerals. The work is to find the diamond and clean off the manure, remove the minerals, the years and lifetimes of stories and pain, and polish it until nothing is left but the hard, indestructible shine of the diamond, the essence of your being.
Whatever and wherever your path brings you - it will be necessary. Trust that it will bring you to where you need to be. Stay with it, accept it, and don't let the thinking mind and its desires take you away to fantasies of how things should be.

Everything
is very simple. Also
the practice. All we need is
the path of our own heart. We
don't need difficult, convoluted teachings
with 27 or 101 steps, unless the heart brings
us there. What we need is perseverance
and facing reality and our own
pain and fear. There is no
way around that,
no 15 or 85
steps or
anything
else.
Just that - facing reality and all that can't stand in its presence.
